Foreign Born might be signed to Secretly Canadian Records, but its sound is pure West Coast. The L.A.-based quartet’s crisp, Byrds-inspired harmonies and sunny melodies have already won over Grizzly Bear, whose blog is in full support mode. Even though spring is barely underway, Foreign Born makes us wish it was already summer. The band’s sophomore album, Person To Person, isn’t released until June, but “Vacationing People,” a dreamy mix of folk, rock and pop, should tide you over until then.
