Shelley Short is not someone to doubt. The mesmerizing chanteuse, who has toured with notable artists such as M. Ward and Loudon Wainwright III, is readying her second LP, A Cave, A Canoo (out next Tuesday on Hush). The album is highly influenced by Short’s tales of growing up in Portland, Ore.
