Because of its name, London quartet Wolf People might have a hard time avoiding being associated with the vampire/werewolf madness that’s taken over the world, but take a listen before you scoff. “October Fires,” off the band’s debut LP, Tidings (out late February on Jagjaguwar), captures the bluesy, garage-rock spirit of the British Invasion and sounds like it’s being played on your dad’s old beat-up record player.
