The Black Keysnew album Brothers (Nonesuch) is out on May 18, and the duo (pictured) will support the release on a tour that includes select dates opening for Pearl Jam at Madison Square Garden, performances on Late Show With David Letterman and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and two shows at Central Park’s SummerStage … Jane’s Addiction has welcomed new bassist Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver) to the family. The band is currently working on its next album, which will tentatively be out in winter 2011, supported by a worldwide tour … On June 8, Delta Spirit will release the new History From Below (Rounder), which was produced by Bo Koster (My Morning Jacket) and Eli Thomson. The band will immediately hit the road after the release for a North American summer tour … Merge Records is celebrating Record Store Day (April 17) by releasing seven-inches from Telekinesis, Superchunk (the band is autographing all copies) and Let’s Wrestle/the Love Language … Also on Record Store Day, Devo will perform at Coachella and the remastered vinyl and expanded CD editions of the band’s 1979 album, Duty Now For The Future, will be released by Warner Bros., as well as two brand new recordings on 12-inch vinyl. New Traditionalists, the band’s 1981 album, will be reissued May 11 … In Twistable, Turnable Man: A Musical Tribute To The Songs Of Shel Silverstein will be out via Sugar Hill Records on June 8. Co-produced by Bobby Bare Sr. and his son Bobby Jr., the album features reinterpretations of Silverstein’s work by artists such as Dr. Dog, My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird, Ray Price, Kris Kristofferson and John Prine …  Hurricane Bells will release its debut, Tonight Is The Ghost (Vagrant), on April 12, supported by dates with Blue October in April and a May headlining tour. Download “This Year” … The third annual Soundset Festival will take place on May 30 in Shakopee, Minn., featuring appearances by Atmosphere, Method Man & Redman, Brother Ali, Hieroglyphics Featuring Del The Funky Homosapien, People Under The Stairs and many more … The Jayhawks’ 1986 self-titled debut will be reissued on CD for the first time on May 18 by Lost Highway Records … Trans Am will be on tour this spring in support of new LP Thing, out on April 20. Download “Apparent Horizon” … On June 15, Laurie Anderson will release Homeland (Nonesuch), her first studio album in 10 years … Tokyo Police Club’s second full-length, Champ, is out on June 8 via mom+pop. The release will be supported on a tour this spring and summer, which includes performances at Coachella, Bonnaroo and guest dates with Passion Pit.
