Birds & Batteries have made quite a jump from last year’s exploration of creepy, David Bowie-inspired synth funk on the Up To No Good EP. The San Francisco four-piece’s latest song, “Strange Kind Of Mirror” (which premieres today on the MAGNET website), is a simple, guitar-driven uplifting number that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy when it’s over. It’s from the band’s third full-length, Panorama, which will be released October 12 via Spune/Velvet Blue Music.
