Slow, soulful ballad “Hang Your Head Down Low” is from the I’m Still Free EP (released early this year), which is one of Spain’s first new songs in more than eight years. Founding member Josh Haden (the son of legendary jazz bassist Charlie Haden) re-formed the band with a new lineup in 2007 after a long hiatus. Now, the Los Angeles quartet is busy in the studio working on a full-length, which is due out sometime in late 2010 or early 2011. Read our 2009 Lost Classics post about the band.
