With their newest album, Personal Life (Kill Rock Stars), the Thermals take on the issue at the heart and soul of rock ‘n’ roll: the relationship. With new single “Never Listen to Me” (due out October 19), the trio stays true to its sound, providing listeners with another simple, bouncing rock ditty. The song serves as a warning to a potential lover as frontman Hutch Harris chants, “Love me all of my life/Never listen to me.” The single’s b-side is an unreleased song called “There Is Always A Reason.” Check out the mix tape the Thermals made us a few weeks ago.
