Featuring vocalist and keyboardist Alex Tween and drummer Matt Walsh, Brooklyn-based indie dream-pop duo the Forms are releasing a collaborative remix EP, Derealization (Threespheres/Ernest Jennings). First single “Steady Hand” envelops the listener in a blanket of consistent bass and drums, tranquil vocals and tinkling keyboards. It doesn’t blow you out of the water, and it isn’t meant to. It’s like the Comas, Minus The Bear and Sunny Day Real Estate got together for tea and had a modified jam session after downing their last Krimpet. And it gives you that gut-warming feeling like a cup of chai.
