Minneapolis foursome Tapes ‘N Tapes dropped their new album, Outside (Ibid), today as well as playing two hometown shows. The clip for first single “Freak Out” is filmed home-video style and hearkens back to a carefree time when kids didn’t wear crewneck sweatshirts, neon high tops or whitewash jeans ironically, and it capitalizes on end-of-year nostalgia inevitably brought on by holiday parties and top-10 lists.
