Fergus & Geronimo take their name from the rival child gang leaders in the 1994 film War Of The Buttons. (No, we haven’t seen it either.) After issuing a handful of singles over the past couple years, the NYC (by way of Denton, Texas) band has just released its debut full-length, the 11-track Unlearn (Hardly Art). This cool clip for album track “Where The Walls Are Made Of Grass” was directed by video collagist Alice Cohen, who if we’re not mistaken played in underrated ’80s band the Vels, who were based in MAGNET’s hometown of Philadelphia.
