MAGNET’s Philly homeboy G. Love returns February 22 with his fourth solo album, Fixin’ To Die (Brushfire). The LP was produced by Scott and Seth Avett of the Avett Brothers in their home state of North Carolina and features Love originals, rearranged traditionals and a cover of Paul Simon’s “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover.” Love and the Avetts met last fall and hit it off because of their shared love of back-road blues.
