Catch My Shoe is the 25th record the Ex has issued on its Ex label and the band’s 123rd(!) release since the Dutch band debuted in 1980. (The new album is out via Carrot Top in the U.S.) The nine-song LP was recorded in Chicago by Steve Albini last March and marries the band’s patented post-punk sound to some African-pop flourishes.
