Oneida’s Thank Your Parents triptych of releases will be completed June 7 with the issuing of Absolute II (Jagjaguwar). The four-track album follows 2008’s Preteen Weaponry and 2009’s triple-CD Rated O as part of a 200-minute work that can be listened to as a whole (if you have a lot of free time) or as separate parts (if you have a life). The Brooklyn fivesome is playing a three-night hometown stint at Monster Island Basement starting June 17 and will be performing throughout the day with special guests on October 1 at the Asbury Lanes Bowling Alley as part of the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival.
