And you thought you were DIY, didn’t ya, punk? Point Juncture, WA does more itself before 9 a.m. than you do all day. The Portland, Ore., quartet lives in a house that it bought as a band, converted an old barn into a recording studio, records its own music and grows its own food, which it then cooks on tour while camping rather than eating in restaurants and staying in hotels. Today marks the release date of Point Juncture, WA’s fourth album, Handsome Orders (Mt. Fuji). Watch the video for the LP’s first single, “Violin Case,” below.
