On June 7, Black Lips are issuing their sixth album via Vice Records, and it marks the first time the Atlanta flower punks didn’t self-produce one of their releases. The 16-track Arabia Mountain features nine songs produced by Mark Ronson (Adele, Duran Duran, Amy Winehouse), with the remainder being recorded with Lockett Pundt (Deerhunter). Black Lips are currently on tour in Europe before they return to the U.S. for West Coast dates with Cerebal Ballzy throughout June and East Coast dates in July and August. After that, the band is doing Lollapalooza and the Hopscotch Festival. In the meantime, download Ronson-produced Arabia Mountain tracks “New Direction” and “Modern Art” below.
