Sondre Lerche just released his self-titled sixth album via Mona Records. The Norwegian-born, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter cut the LP live in the studio with co-producer Nicolas Verhnes (Spoon, Animal Collective). Says Lerche, “We recorded a lot of it to tape, forcing ourselves to either commit or burn bridges and move on. We were killing darlings left and right.
