The self-titled debut album from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds is due out November 8 via Sour Mash/Mercury, making it the first new music from the ex-Oasis guitarist in three years. The 10-track LP was recorded in London and Los Angeles with the great David Sardy co-producing. Below, watch the Mike Bruce-directed video for “The Death Of You And Me,” which was filmed in May while Gallagher was finishing the album in L.A. So, then, who exactly are these High Flying Birds? Says Gallagher, “They aren’t anyone in particular. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds is me and whoever is around at the time of whatever it is that I’m doing. A loose collective kinda thing.” Sounds a little more relaxed than Oasis.
