British quartet Ladytron returns September 13 with Gravity The Seducer (Nettwerk), its fifth studio album. Songwriter/producer Daniel Hunt calls the LP a work of “dreamlike scenarios and surreal landscapes.” Based on the few songs the band has released on its SoundCloud page, there are definitely going to be some dark and cascading synth leads on the album. This dreamlike quality permeates the video for the LP’s lead single, “White Elephant,” which you can watch below. The clip follows the band through a series of opulent and disturbing tableau vivants; singer Mira Aroyo does her best to stare through your soul, while an Asian man in a nautical outfit leads her around. You can catch Ladytron on tour in North America with VHS Or Beta in September and October.
