Regents, whose members hail from ’90s hardcore groups including Sleepytime Trio and Frodus, are about to releases a self-titled, four-song seven-inch via Lovitt Records. The band started as keytar-and-drum duo Regions in 2007 but turned into a punk-rock quartet the following year. The second track off the new single, “Cinder Machine,” starts out slowly with a lone guitar, but it quickly picks up with distortion and raw vocals. Download the track below.
