San Francisco’s Silver Swans take their name from a Wonder Woman villain who destroys towns with sound waves, but their music has a softer, more spacious essence. On “Let It Happen,” vocalist Ann Yu half-raps over producer Jon Waters’ minimal beat, which pushes itself into a driving chorus. The track is off their upcoming self-released album Forever, due February 7.
