The late Jason DiEmilio (a.k.a. the Azusa Plane) has been memorialized with retrospective album Where The Sands Turn To Gold, out now via Rocket Girl Records. A huge player in the experimental scene, Philly’s Azusa Plane used a Fender guitar and effect pedals to create lo-fi, drone-rock masterpieces.
