Howlin Rain, a powerhouse quintet from Santa Cruz, Calif., just released its third album, The Russian Wilds (American). The band’s influences from the ’60s and ’70s are hard to ignore, and The Russian Wilds was produced by the great Rick Rubin. First single “Phantom In The Valley” depicts an apocalyptic vision, while frontman Ethan Miller’s voice remains inspirational and captivating. Download the song below.
