Siddhartha‘s new album, If It Die (Neurotic Yell), will be released May 1. The LP’s recording process lasted about a year, and during that period San Francisco singer/songwriter Marlon Hauser was either homeless or living in a space with no windows. He found it to be rather helpful, as it inspired him to create If It Die by escaping any interference from the outside world. Download album track “The Fire Next Time” below.

Great record. Heard a sneak preview at the Black Scale store in L.A. I didn’t know what the names of the tracks was but they were great. i saw some footage of them with shabazz palaces and it looked epic
I saw their video over at the Canvas Art Talk blog. Great sound very unique. i like the mix of space rock with post punk.
