Swiss artist François Chalet and his fiancée dreamed of having Modeselektor play at their wedding. A request was made that the two didn’t think would be answered, but fate had it that the German band was on the hunt last minute to find a visual artist. The two worlds collided, and we’re left with a playful and intricate animated video for “Berlin” that thumps right along. Miss Platnum’s flair for dub fuses extraordinarily well with the group’s walloping beats. The song is off Monkeytown, which was just released as a two-CD edition with a bonus DVD.
