Even if you don’t understand Spanish, Josephine Foster‘s “Sangre Colorada” proves to be an upbeat, cultural experience. Indeed, Foster’s new album, Perlas (Fire), features a full assortment of Spanish folk songs handpicked by Foster herself. “Sangre Colorada” is just a taste of Foster and the Victor Herrero Band’s prowess, bubbling along with sing-song voices, loose bass and floaty guitar rhythms. Download it below, and check out Perlas on May 15.
