Easter Island is no longer just for vacationing Catholics. The indie-rock band has just released its latest single, “Hash,” an anthemic song made of speeding guitars and roaring drums. Each fast-paced verse builds to a quieter chorus, one that’s equally rousing and goosebump-inducing. The lyrical tension, at times hushed but always palpable, of the song adds to this effect.
