Plants And Animals‘ new video for the title track off The End Of That (Secret City) is a blast from the past. Well, sort of. The video, directed by band friend Joe Cobden, copies the visual style of an old-fashioned talk show. In order to achieve that vintage look, the clip was filmed on decades-old tube cameras, and the result is fuzzy footage with muted colors that mimics the real deal. The set and costume design, along with the song’s snappy quality, adds to this experiment in forged authenticity. Watch “The End Of That” below.
