Windsor Drive feels like it’s been buried in a time capsule somewhere in the U.K. for 20 or 30 years. Although the band hails from Wisconsin, its indie pop sounds like a direct descendant of synthy Britpop from the ’70s and ’80s. “I Don’t Feel It,” off the self-released Wanderlust EP (out September 24), is a pulsating pop gem heavy on the synthesizer and falsetto. Lead vocals from Kipp Wilde are the real hook here; he sends his voice seamlessly into upper registers and filters it in ways that channel the out-of-touch theme of the song. Download it below.
