MAGNET’s hometown heroes in Southwork just released Arise and are having their record-release party for it tomorrow at Philly’s Johnny Brenda’s. They also just made a video for their original holiday song “Gift Of Love.” We are proud to premiere the clip today on magnetmagazine.com. Says the band’s Mike Vivas of the song and video, “Last year we spent a lot of time listening to the Phil Spector Christmas record. This year, we wanted to do a song inspired by that, so this is our secular winter holiday love song. The video is of us recording the song in our rehearsal studio. Deep in a South Philadelphia basement.”
