“Slow Dancer” comes from Noah Gundersen’s sophomore LP, Carry The Ghost, and, like most of his songs, it’s an emotional wallop. The song takes a more plugged-in approach than his fantastic debut, Ledges, did, but retains the same deliberate, folky intimacy. “Slow Dancer” has a darker, somehow even more melancholy vibe that brings Gundersen’s fragile songwriting even closer to Jeff Buckley’s.
