MAGNET just lost a very good and longtime friend: Tom Rapp, frontman/songwriter of legendary psych/folk band Pearls Before Swine. We called him our Psychedelic Godfather, and when he and his wonderful wife Lynn would send us a holiday card each year, he would never sign it Tom, but instead Psychedelic Godfather. He was a brilliant songwriter and musician, a great, compassionate lawyer and, most importantly, as decent a human being as you will ever meet. The world is a far worse place without Tom Rapp.
