Robbins (Jawbox, Burning Airlines, Channels), out May 31 on Dischord …On June 7, Jesse “Boots Electric” Hughes is releasing cover versions of 13 of his favorite songs (by the likes of Bowie, Kiss, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Ramones and Queens Of The Stone Age) with Eagles Of Death Metal Presents Boots Electric Performing The Best Songs We Never Wrote (UMe) … My Songs, Sting‘s latest LP (out via Cherrytree/A&M/Interscope on May 24), features the former Police frontman reimagining some of his biggest hits, including “Every Breath You Take,” “Roxanne,” “Message In A Bottle,” “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” “Can’t Stand Losing You” and “Englishman In New York” … Speaking of the Police, Stewart Copeland’s The Police: Everyone Stares — The Police Inside Out (Eagle Vision, May 31) is a film that captures the drummer’s inside look at the band’s rise to fame via super-8 footage he began shooting in 1978.
