KT Tunstall’s life during the pandemic has been pretty similar to all the other musicians trying to get by while their biggest source of income has been taken away from them. She wrote and recorded a timely track during lockdown (“Wash Ya Hands,” featuring Grace Savage and the Freelance Hellraiser), with proceeds going to charity (War Child UK and WaterAid). She’s done virtual and drive-in shows. She teamed up with MusicGurus to launch Song Studies With KT Tunstall, her first online music course. She has a new dog. And she’s also working on the final installment of her Spirit, Body And Mind trilogy (following 2016’s KIN and 2018’s WAX), which is due out next year. So once again, Tunstall has taken the drastic and found a way to make it fantastic.
