I moved recently, and I havent received the new issue. How come?
Did you notify us directly of your new address by sending in a change of address form? Because we cannot guarantee the post office will forward the magazine, you must let us know six weeks in advance.
Six weeks in advance? Are you kidding?
No, were not kidding. But since we understand that its more likely youll have six days notice before you move, just let us know as soon as possible. If you miss an issue due to an address change, we usually cannot replace the missed issue. We can, however, extend your subscription by an issue to ensure you dont get shortchanged.
Can I change my address via email?
Of course. E-mail address changes to subscriptions {at} magnetmagazine {dot} com. Be sure to include your full name and both your old and new addresses.
I subscribed and didnt get the free full-length CD I wanted. Can I send the CD back and pick another one?
No. Its a free CD. One that comes as a bonus for your already inexpensive subscription. Think of it as a gift: If your grandmother knits you a red scarf for your birthday, you wouldnt send it back to her and ask her to knit you a blue one. Again, the answer is no.
But I really wanted my first CD choice; that's why I subscribed. Can I get my money back?
There are no refunds. If you envision yourself asking this question, please do not subscribe. Really.
What about the New Music Sampler CDs? It says you get six volumes, but I got my first issue and it only had one sampler CD enclosed. Where are the other five?
One sampler CD comes enclosed with each issue of the magazine; you receive the six volumes throughout the year (six issues per year = six samplers).
If I order a back issue, do I get the sampler CD that came enclosed with that issue?
Unfortunately, no. We are completely out of past volumes of the sampler CDs, and therefore cannot send them to you.
Why do you need my phone number/email address on the subscription form?
So we can contact you in case your magazine gets returned to us, there's a suspected typo ("suspected typo"!?) on your subscription form, etc. We do not share any of your info with anyone.
How can I order someone a subscription as a gift?
Simply place the order with your address/information as the billing contact, and the giftees name and address as the recipient. Please note that you will have to choose the free full-length CD for the giftee.
For whatever reason, your online store/shopping cart isn’t working. What should I do?
Email magnet@magnetmagazine.com and let us know what the problem is (be more specific than "its not working"). We'll do our best to fix the problem or otherwise assist you in ordering.
If you dont feel like doing that, print or copy this form, fill it out, write a check and send it in the mail to the address provided.
