The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS): Metric
Synth-poppers Metric will be on Letterman tonight, playing something from its latest album, Fantasies (Arts & Crafts). We’re thinking maybe “Slow Muse” or “Help, I’m Alive.” Also, the band is holding a contest at Dailymotion to make a video for “Slow Muse.”

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC): The Dead Weather
The Dead Weather—Jack White, Alison Mosshart (Kills), Dean Fertita (Queens Of The Stone Age, Waxwings) and Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs)—is promoting its debut album, Horehound, on Fallon. Our guess is they’ll play “Treat Me Like Your Mother,” which was just made into a short film that debuted on Cinemax last Saturday.
