Wavves might have hit some road bumps in their quest to create the perfect surf-punk song (addiction, fights and loads of hype), but they’re not giving up. Tracks like “Hula Hoop” make us glad to hear it. This video features a live performance focused on Nathan Williams’ slightly manic vocals and new drummer Zach Hill’s very manic playing; it’s angry, stripped-down and straight to the point. Not unlike the boys themselves.
