Califone is mixing media. The Chicago band’s All My Friends Are Funeral Singers (Dead Oceans) is set for release on October 6. The following tour will be accompanied by frontman Tim Rutili’s latest artistic endeavor: film. The movie, appropriately titled All My Friends Are Funeral Singers, inspired the new album and vice versa. The full-length film will be incorporated into Califone’s performances, adding a new element to its live show. Here’s the trailer.
