Fiery Furnace Matthew Friedberger is issuing an eight-LP solo series next year titled, appropriately, Solos. A new album will be released via Thrill Jockey every two months, with the sixth LP featuring two bonus records. Each album will feature Friedberger on a single instrument; the first LP, Napoleonette, spotlights the piano and is out January 25. Solos releases will be limited to 700 copies and sold as a subscription costing $50 plus shipping, though individual albums will be available in stores in small quantities.
