The Bottletop Band is a new supergroups made up of guitarists/vocalists Carl Barât (Dirty Pretty Things, Libertines) and Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), drummer Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys) and bassist Drew McConnell (Babyshambles). The band’s debut, Dream Service, is due in April and features guest appearances by the likes of Tim Burgess, VV Brown and Eliza Doolittle. The 10-track LP will benefit charities in Brazil, Malawi, Rwanda, Mozambique and the U.K. that address sexual and reproductive health, substance abuse and gender equality.
