Soon after the release, he’ll hit the road with the Missingmen for a North American tour … Also on March 1, The Baseball Project—Steve Wynn, Scott McCaughey, Linda Pitmon and Peter Buck—is releasing its second album of baseball-themed rock, Volume 2: High And Inside (Yep Roc). The LP features appearances by Craig Finn, Ben Gibbard, Steve Berlin, Ira Kaplan, Chris Funk, John Moen and Robert Lloyd … Ian Svenonius is hosting the Bruise Cruise, a festival taking place February 25-28 on a boat from Miami to the Bahamas featuring the Black Lips, Vivian Girls, Surfer Blood and many others … Explosions In The Sky will play its first-ever show at Radio City Music Hall on April 6, which is the newest confirmed date on the band’s 2011 tour … TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek has officially joined Jane’s Addiction, which is planning to release its fourth studio album this summer … On January 17, the Ecstatic Music Festival kicks off at New York City’s Merkin Concert Hall. It will feature 14 shows until March 28, with performances by Dan Deacon, Nico Muhly, Owen Pallett and more … Small Source Of Comfort is the 31st (yes, you read that right) album from Bruce Cockburn. It will be released by True North in March … Norman Blake of Teenage Fanclub and Euros Childs of Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci have teamed up to form Jonny. The duo’s self-titled debut album will be available for digital download on February 1, with a physical release of April 12 on Merge.
