Earlier this year, the legendary Exene Cervenka released The Excitement Of Maybe, her second solo album for the Bloodshot label. Like most musicians, she set out to promote the LP with a tour. Unlike most musicians, however, Cervenka was diagnosed a couple years ago with multiple sclerosis, a disease that is very unpredictable. While on tour, she suffered an MS attack that made her unable to use her right hand and arm, making it impossible to play guitar. Wisely, she cancelled the remaining live dates so she can recover, and she hopes to tour again in the near future.
