The video for Memoryhouse‘s “Quiet America” is both short and stunningly beautiful in its simplicity. Directed by Jamie Hardley, the clip stars singer Denise Nouvion as she watches the sun rise over a lake. The heavy ambient sound and her warbling vocals throw a whole extra dimension to the solitude of the video. “Quiet America” is a new track added to the Sub Pop release of The Years. The EP is a re-recorded version of the 2010 release and features new track “Modern, Normal.” Watch the video below, and catch Memoryhouse when it tours the U.S. with Peter, Bjorn And John and the Radio Dept. in the fall.
