A barely discernable female starts ambient track “Specdrum” as it psychedelically builds and builds, transforming into a smooth rhythmic jam. Reverbed, sampled vocals are present, but they do not get in the way of the dominating, droning rock that Woodsman is so good at outputting. The experimental band’s 27-minute Mystic Places EP is out October 25 via Firetalk, but you can download “Specdrum” below.
