Norah Jones will release a new album this spring via Blue Note/EMI. Little Broken Hearts was made with the help of producer and musician Danger Mouse, who co-wrote and provided drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and string arrangements for the record … Last June, Dinosaur Jr reunited to play 1988 album Bug in its entirety in Washington, D.C. Six lucky fans were selected to film the performance, and now you’ll be able to own the footage, Bug Live At 9:30 Club: In the Hands Of The Fans (MVD ), on DVD and Blu-ray on February 21 … We were treated to a career-spanning retrospective from Ben Folds Five last fall that included a couple new tunes. Fans can now revel in the news that the trio is currently back in the studio working on its first album since 1999 … On April 17, Loudon Wainwright III will issue Older Than My Old Man Now (Story Sound), which features contributions from all four of his children as well as Ramblin’ Jack Elliott and Dame Edna … The Sister (Box Of Cedar) is the new album from Marissa Nadler, due out May 29 … In 1969, Frank Zappa formed the Straight and Bizarre record labels, which went on to release pivotal albums by the likes of Alice Cooper, Captain Beefheart, Tim Buckley and more. The film From Straight To Bizarre, out on DVD via MVD on February 21, revisits this music and features interviews with many of the labels’ contributors … Concord Music Group will reissue Little Richard’s 1957 album, Here’s Little Richard, on April 17. The release features original demos, two videos and a never-before-heard interview with Specialty Records founder Art Rupe.
