In The News: Redd Kross, Matisyahu, Wallflowers, Everclear, Dead Can Dance And More

On August 7, Redd Kross returns after a 15-year hiatus with Researching The Blues (Merge), which features 10 brand-new songs … Matisyahu’s fourth studio album, Spark Seeker, is out July 17 on his own label, Fallen Spark Records (via Thirty Tigers/RED). He’ll hit the road June 1 for the first leg of his North American tour, supported by Dirty Heads … The highly anticipated, as-yet-untitled new album from the Wallflowers is being finished as we speak, and it will be released this fall. In the meantime, the band is playing a series of dates in select U.S. cities this summer to preview its new material … Invisible Stars is the first collection of new songs from Everclear in six years, and it’s due June 26. The band will be co-headlining the Summerland tour this summer alongside Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms, Lit and Marcy Playground … Dead Can Dance had a 16-year break since 1996 album Spiritchaser, but the band returns with new material on August 9, with a worldwide tour kicking off the same day …  Eagle Rock Entertainment will issue Speak Of The Devil, a live DVD of Ozzy Osbourne’s 1982 performance at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater, on July 17 … While awaiting the release of upcoming album Deltron 2, Del The Funky Homosapien teamed up with Parallel Thought to create Attractive Sin, out June 19 … On June 26, Yep Roc will issue Sight & Sound, a two-disc audio and video set from Chatham County Line, featuring 20 live tracks spanning the band’s 10-year career.
