K Records founder (and member of groups such as Beat Happening and the Halo Benders) Calvin Johnson has new project called the Hive Dwellers. “A Woman Named Trudy,” off Hewn From The Wilderness, is a classic Calvin track. It could be mistaken for an unreleased Beat Happening song, but the video shows Johnson has grown up since those early K days. He looks right at home paying bills and doing house work.
