Old men in suits look the same as old men in suits 40, 50 and even 150 years ago, when women took up wearing masculine attire.
Young people in the 1960s hippie era were well-known for not trusting anyone over 30 or men in suits, but the costume has persisted, uninterrupted, for those in positions of power.
