MAGNET Exclusive: Premiere Of 10xTANTRUM’s “Work”

A true multidisciplinary collective, New York City’s 10xTANTRUM has been compared to everyone from Bananarama to Spoon. And they totally get it—to a point.

“What makes it unique is that each of us has a solo project with our own set of influences, whether it’s electronic, indie rock or more experimental genres,” says bandmember Eli Romanova.

When it comes to deciphering this amorphous bunch, resumes certainly help. Romanova is a multidisciplinary artist, musician and founder of the Fox Creatives boutique talent agency. Jade “Blu Jay” Duncan is the actress and musician behind the edgy fashion brand Baby Daddy Momma Drama, with onscreen credits that include 2013’s Decoding Annie Parker and the 2018 HBO series Sharp Objects. Jack Xander is a singer, producer and visual artist best known for the 2024 EP Truck Punk. Diletta “Dill” Busin is an Italian vocalist, producer and model affiliated with high-end apparel brands Valentino and Charles Jeffrey Loverboy.

Blurring the lines even further, “Work,” 10xTANTRUM’s latest single, features rising runway queen Awet Aleu. “The track was inspired by our desire to experiment with different genres and create a sound that’s both groove-heavy and mind-bending,” says Romanova. “As for the collaboration with Awet, it came about organically. I’d worked with her on fashion shows and built a solid creative connection. From the very beginning, 10xTANTRUM has been about creating a world where fashion, music and visual art collide. With ‘Work,’ we really push that vision further.”

We’re proud to premiere 10xTANTRUM’s “Work.”
