Sea.Hear.Now Festival blends live music, surf competitions and beach vibes down the shore in Asbury Park, N.J. There’s something special about watching a band while the ocean crashes behind you and surfers battle in the distance. This year’s lineup was stacked, featuring headliners Hozier and Blink-182, along with LCD Soundsystem, Alabama Shakes, TV On The Radio, Public Enemy and many more. One of the standout sets came from Philly’s own Mannequin Pussy, which absolutely owned the stage with raw energy and emotion.
Throughout both days, the crowd vibe was friendly and excited, with fans of all ages soaking in the music and great weather. Of course, festivals always have a few downsides. Lines for food and drinks tested everyone’s patience, and lodging in Asbury Park can be pricey during the fest, so booking early is a must. But between the music, the surf and that unbeatable beach setting, Sea.Hear.Now still delivers one of the most memorable festival experiences on the East Coast.
