Time to get ramped up for Halloween and revel in the eerie mystery of Philadelphia’s Bacarrudas. The quartet is the latest twisted project from Adam Rabuck of the late, great NYC punk/power-pop outfit Dirt Bike Annie.
“‘Wolf Party’ is a howling paean to the animal you know you are—an animal that has to make small talk and watch out for parking tickets, but an animal nonetheless,” says Rabuck. “Feel that itch, that blood tide shift with the crazy-making rise of the full moon.”
At first, Rabuck planned only a few tunes. But that quickly morphed into at least eight “infernal rock ’n’ soul hymns” designed to induce serious K-Tel Halloween Fright Night flashbacks. We’re proud to premiere “Wolf Party.” Look for Bleed Out, Get Pushed Off A Cliff, Sink To The Bottom Of A Lake, And Play A Halloween Monster House Party! October 3 via Schuylkill Beat/Mom’s Basement.
